Training guide

By working at Formalitat as any role above sales associate you agree to following this guide as your assistant in doing training sessions. Enjoy your experience & work with Formalitat!
  1. How to Dress & Act:
  • Wear the designated uniform, available in the office located in the upstairs area of the store.
  • Ensure accessories and hairstyle are formal and simple to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Interact with customers naturally, avoiding robotic responses.
  • Authentic communication is encouraged; avoid unnecessary copy/pasting.
  1. How to Greet Customers:
  • Welcome customers warmly and inquire about how you can assist them.
  • If they do not need assistance at that point in time, let them know that you are available in case of them changing their mind.
  • If they do need assistance when you inquire them, you should communicate with them in order to help them find their desired attire or accessories.
  1. How to Assist and Guide Customers:
  • Familiarise yourself with the homestore layout to efficiently guide customers.
  • Ensure that you are well versed in the types of suits – two piece and three piece. A two piece is a waistcoat or a jacket with pants, and a three piece is a waistcoat and a jacket with pants.
  • Ask them concise questions such as “What is the occasion for the outfit?” or “Do you have any particular colours in mind?” – this can help you curate your recommendations more accurately.
  • Provide honest opinions to assist customers in selecting clothing that suits them.
  • Emphasise genuine assistance over solely focusing on sales. Presenting yourself as approachable and accommodating rather than forceful is beneficial for our reputation as a brand and the presence of amiablility seen in you as a staff member.
  • Do not hover over customers; some prefer to browse independently before utilising assistance.
  1. How to Bid Farewell to the Customer:
  • Ask departing customers to like the game and join the group if they enjoyed their experience. Do not force them to if they wouldn’t like to, simply ask them if they could do so politely.
  • Extend well wishes for a lovely day/evening and bid them a proper farewell.
  1. Rules:
  • Avoid sitting down while customers are present to maintain professionalism.
  • Maintain a reasonable distance from customers to ensure their comfort.
  • Treat everyone with respect and refrain from mistreating anyone.
  • If approached by another group for recruitment, inform a supervisor for potential bonuses and express gratitude for their loyalty.
